My
Fellow Rotarians,
The time is here, and now that I’m president I want to thank
the club for having the faith in me to fulfill the duties necessary to be president of The West Shore Rotary Club.
I have 2 simple goals I want to accomplish in my term of 2009-2010.
My number one goal is to work with every member of our club to
help build membership and recognition of Rotary and have fun doing it. I feel in order for us to do this we need to continue
our clubs traditions as far as fundraisers and donations, and I also look forward to reaching out to our fellow communities,
North Olmsted ,Westpark and Fairview and becoming more involved. I encourage all of you to help with brain storming new ideas
and sharing with the club at our weekly meetings.
The second goal I would like to concentrate on is making the weekly
meetings a little more exciting. My thought on this would be to have games, contests and raffles. I do have a game/raffle
in mind that I will share with you all at our next meeting and also I want to know everyone’s ideas on this as well.
Bottom line is that I don’t want to reinvent the sprocket,
I just want to help turn it. So, lets all work together to make 2009-2010 a year to remember. The future of Rotary is in all
our hands.
Sincerely,
Michael A. Wheeler
